Viv Pugh has taught history to adults in South Wales, since 1995. He studied at the University of Glamorgan, qualifying with a BA Hons. in Humanities (History), and then at Cardiff University with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and in Swansea University with a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Social Sciences.
Viv worked for 25 years with Workers Education Association (WEA) and Adult Education Wales (AEW) teaching History, Sociology and Politics. He is the Chair of the Dic Penderyn Society and treasurer of the Merthyr Family History. His historical works have been published in several local journals and he authored the book: ‘Bread and Cheese’ – Dic Penderyn and Welsh Radicalism.
His areas of interest include Local and Welsh history and Modern American history.
Viv has worked with adults with autism and learning difficulties for over 30 years.
