Peter Crump was a member of Street Farm, a London-based collective of anarchist architects and designers working in the early 1970s. They published Street Farmer, an underground paper that, alongside mutating tower blocks, cosmic tractors and sprouting one-way signs, put forward manifestos for the radical transformation of urban living.

Peter late joined the short lived Earth Workshop project in Wales and then continued to be active in the peace movement during the 1980s when he moved to Bristol.

For further information about Street Farm see The Revolutionary Urbanism of Street Farm: Eco-Anarchism, Architecture and Alternative Technology (Tangent, 2014) by Stephen E. Hunt of the Bristol Radical History Group.
