Isabella Lorusso was born in Apulia, in Italy, and she finished her studies in Bologna with a thesis on the Spanish Civil War. She moved to Peru where she taught Italian at the universities of Lima, Cuzco and Tumbes. She published “The sorceress”, “Trelew: story of a journey to the south of the world” and “Voices of POUM”. She currently lives and work in Dorset.
