Barney Cullum has reported from Palestine and more than 20 countries as a journalist for outlets including Byline Times, the New Internationalist and the Green European Journal. He is also the author of a book of interviews with more than 70 activists entitled ‘Making a Movement: With the Disruptors Driving Social Change Around the World’. Research for Making a Movement included visits to Banky’s Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem and interviews with the family that curated the West Bank’s Wall Museum, an initiative documenting Palestinian stories of occupation.

Most recently Cullum has brought Gazan web developers together with the humanitarian NGO Muslim Aid to develop Gaza Living Story, a digital museum and dreaming tool for genocide survivors to moblise for a reconstruction reflecting their memories, hopes and dreams of what was Gaza was and what it still can be.
