Anna Pollert studied sociology at Bristol University. Her work includes studies of gender and class, workplace relations, political and economic transformation in post-1990s Central-Eastern Europe, organising the unorganised, non-unionised ‘vulnerable’ workers’ recourse for help on employment rights and the experience of advice providers, such as Citizens’ Advice Bureaux and Law Centres. She currently campaigns for the NHS in ‘Keep our NHS Public’.
