Journalist, author and historian Eugene Byrne was formerly Deputy Editor of Venue magazine. He has written a number of books, including several on Bristol’s history, and currently edits the Bristol Post’s ‘Bristol Times’ weekly local history pull-out. He is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of the West of England.
