Chris Bowkett is a trade union activist in South Bristol and a regular contributor to the Bristol Radical History Group. Chris’ recent pamphlet, ‘Conflicts of Interest‘ is part of the BRHG project on the 1926 General Strike, detailing the issues faced by the Bristol Strike Committee and the Co-operative movement as they each fought to keep the strikers fed. Chris has also organised a series of history walks related to the General Strike in Bristol.
