In the <strong>Lord Mayor\u2019s Reception Room:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>13:30\u201314:15 Ann Yearsley: Milkmaid &amp; Poet<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sennen Cork<\/strong> leads an introduction to the life and works of Ann Yearsley, the 18th century milkmaid and poet. An early abolitionist, Ann is known for her controversial and contentious working relationship with Hannah More.<\/p>\n<h2>14:30\u201315:15 Nautical Women<\/h2>\n<p>Author of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brh.org.uk\/site\/pamphleteer\/nautical-women\/\"><em> Nautical Women: women sailors and the women of sailortowns: A forgotten diaspora c.1693 &#8211; 1902<\/em><\/a>,<strong> Rosemary Caldicott<\/strong> explores the stories of women whose lives were inextricably linked to the sea.
